I have been attending Hatha yoga classes for nearly 2 years now. I could not do without these regular classes now in my weekly routine. They have helped me with reducing stress levels, as I have learnt techniques to manage this. The asanas I’ve learnt have also helped with my neck, shoulder and spine alignment.
These classes have made me move to a higher level of awareness. It’s kind of hard to describe. I can sense the energy around me. This is how awake and aware I have become since my journey with yoga and meditation.
I no longer feel the need to belong to a church group or gathering. I am content and happy inside.
I feel like my life is changing with yoga. I don’t like to miss the classes. The instructions given are quite clear and easy to understand. You have time to ask questions. With yoga I feel calmer and more relaxed. I also feel more energised within myself. It’s giving me a clear sense of well-being.

What I like about this class is the intensity and calmness and change in the mind and attitude it brings in your mind and body.

The practices I have learnt in classes have given me inner peace and zest for life and energy. The flexibility of my body is the evidence. I carry out the practices every day, around me my family and friends have seen the positive impact it has on me and my family unit. I feel blessed that I learnt these practices and made my daily routine. I was not interested initially as I loved the gym and workout which helped my well-being but learning the above practice is the icing on the cake. If I was the prime minister, I would implement this in our education system for our children to help with self-esteem, confidence, and happiness.
